At Inspīr Carnegie Hill, we go out of our way to ensure that every resident, employee, visitor, and prospective member of our community experiences complete comfort at all times. That’s why we take extra precautions to protect our community against the spread of infection. These precautions are based on best-in-class senior living safety practices that adhere to guidance released by the CDC and state and federal authorities.
Preventive Measures
Infection control and prevention efforts are a vital part of our daily operations. We remain diligent about preventive, general safety measures, including intensive cleaning and disinfecting protocols, enhanced screening, handwashing, and ongoing infection control training.
To uphold the oath we all took to exceed your expectations, we’ve also implemented state-of-the-art technologies in our community for added senior living safety. These are not state-ordered mandates but rather extra steps we’ve taken to keep our future residents safe and healthy. Here are a few examples:
- Enhanced filtration utilizing MERV 14+ air filters
- Air ionization to remove airborne bacteria
- UV light sanitizers used in common areas in addition to routine cleaning and disinfecting efforts
- Thermal Camera Scanning/Elevated Body Temperature (EBT) checks upon entry and exit of the building
Additionally, we maintain a significant inventory of personal protective equipment and disinfecting and cleaning supplies. Of course, we can’t achieve our safety goals without you, so we appreciate your cooperation. All visitors are subject to a health screening and must adhere to all safety protocols while on the premises.
