When it comes to care, residents across each of our three care programs—Sol (Assisted Living), Terra (Enhanced Care), and Oceana (Memory Care)—benefit from our unique Integrated Care Model (ICM). This team-based interdisciplinary approach to delivering care synthesizes the expertise of professionals across multiple disciplines for the best possible outcome for each resident. Team members work in close collaboration to deliver highly coordinated, data-driven, and outcome-based care that is aligned with resident and family goals and focused on what’s important to them.
Brian Geyser, Chief Clinical Officer at Inspīr, refers to our Integrated Care program as “world-class healthcare delivered to you in what feels like home care.” This is accomplished not only through the diligence of our team and care providers working in sync but also by providing an environment designed to support a holistic lifestyle for the residents. We’ve created interiors that feel organic, bringing light and life to both our dining areas, amenity spaces, and residential apartments. The residence is also purpose-built with older adults in mind, making the spaces safe and easy to navigate. Embedded technology helps residents maintain independence while keeping them safe, healthy, and connected.

Most recently, we’ve established relationships with Weill Cornell Geriatrics and their Hospital for Special Surgery. Additionally, we will be working with both Dr. Claire Davenport along with Dr. Heather Berlin at the Mount Sinai Geriatric Center and the Martha Stewart Center for Living. Dr. Davenport, a graduate of Albany Medical College, is a geriatrician at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She is on the Hospitalization at Home team and serves on the Age-Friendly design team with LEAP Architecture. Dr. Davenport’s passion is enabling older adults to align their values with the healthcare they receive.
Dr. Berlin is a cognitive neuroscientist and assistant clinical professor of psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she also completed her NIMH post-doctoral fellowship. Dr. Berlin is the recipient of numerous honors, including Stony Brook University’s “40 Under Forty”, and she also won the 2015 BBC University Challenge as part of the Magdalen College, Oxford team. Passionate about science communication and promoting women in STEM, Dr. Berlin is busy making media appearances along with hosting shows such as the PBS series Science Goes to the Movies and StarTalk All-Stars with Neil deGrasse Tyson.
As we’ve previously highlighted, residents can become members of Sollis Health, which offers 24/7 VIP emergency care if needed. We also have both on-call geriatric dentist Dr. Alisa Kauffman and geriatric psychiatrist Dr. Caitlin Snow. For dermatological issues, we have Dr. Ross C. Radusky available for residents along with Vohra Wound Physicians to assist with any potential skin and wound-related issues. On the physical side of care, we have partnered with Namaste New York, SPEAR Physical Therapy, and Iowa Sports. We pride ourselves on tailoring our care to meet each resident’s needs and, along with working with their current medical professionals, will introduce others to enhance their specific needs when necessary.
